It’s refreshingly simple. The magic lies in the QR code or boarding pass image attached to your confirmation email. Google Wallet recognizes these and automatically adds them to your digital wallet. Of course, if a particular airline or ticketing service doesn’t include these directly in the email, you might still need to do a quick manual upload.
Google Wallet didn’t just stop at the auto-import. They also polished up how your boarding passes are displayed. You’ll easily see the date and time, and quickly jump to the related app or website for any additional details.
